Bring your purchase to any of our Dixieline Lumber locations to get your money back, exchange for another product, or a store credit.  Bring your product along with a copy of you receipt, associated documentation, a valid ID, and the credit card used.

Return Policy

Dixieline accepts returns for most new, unopened merchandise returned within 90 days of purchase, unless noted in our Return Policy Special Cases.

 

Returns for purchases with valid proof of purchase will be exchanged, refunded in cash, credited to your account, or refunded via Dixieline store credit as determined by Dixieline. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment (cash, credit card, etc.), unless noted in our Return Policy Special Cases. Returns for purchases made with a store credit or Dixieline Gift Card will be refunded as a store credit. 

 

If an error was made by Dixieline, then original shipping charges will be fully refunded. Exceptions may apply (i.e., rush delivery). Items must be returned in full with all parts and accessories for a full refund. 

 

Written copies of Dixieline's Return Policy will be provided upon request. 

 

A valid driver’s license or government-issued photo identification is required for non-receipted returns and returns generated from purchases made with Store Credit. Dixieline uses a third-party refund verification system and is reliant upon this verification system for return approval.

 

Return Policy Special Cases 

30-Day Return Policy

The following items may only be returned within 30 days of purchase:

  • Gas Powered Equipment and Tractors
  • Generators

 

Return Policy on Hazardous Materials

Due to safety hazards, items that use flammable liquids or gases cannot be returned through the mail, even if the item has been drained of these materials. This would include (but is not limited to) items such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and any other items that use flammable liquids or gases. Please return products that use flammable liquids/gases or other hazardous materials to your local Dixieline store.

 

Return Policy on Plants

Perennials, trees, and shrubs have a 1-year guarantee. This policy does not apply to cut flowers or floral arrangements.


Order is Damaged or Missing Parts

If an order arrives damaged or incomplete or needs replacement parts, contact Customer Support at 800-349-4354 within 30 days of delivery for resolution.

 

Non-Returnable/Non-Refundable Merchandise

  • Gift Cards and Store Credits 
  • Labor, Delivery, and/or Installation Services 
  • Special Order items
  • Product Samples (i.e., paint, flooring, molding, etc.)
  • Custom window coverings and custom blinds.
  • Custom products ordered and tailored specifically to customer's requirements or measurements.

 

In-Store Return Exceptions

  • Returns for purchases made with a store credit or gift card will be refunded as a store credit. Please bring a valid driver's license or government-issued photo identification for registration.
  • Returns made without a valid sales receipt may be refunded as a store credit at the lowest advertised price. 
  • Cash and cash equivalent purchases exceeding $500 may be refunded by check sent from Dixieline's corporate office. Checks mailed may take up to 2-weeks.

Merchandise Ordered from Third-Party, Marketplace Sellers

Dixieline return policies apply only to items purchased from Dixieline. Items purchased from a third-party or marketplace seller, but shipped by Dixieline, must be returned to the selling party in accordance with their return policies.

 

Return Policy on Paint

  • Paint Satisfaction Guarantee Policy: If you are not satisfied with your interior or exterior liquid paint purchase, bring your paint and receipt back to the store within 30 days of purchase. We will make it right by correcting your paint or giving you a comparable can of paint.
  • Policy excludes: Application issues and improperly prepared surfaces, liquid stains, color samples, “OOPs” merchandise, special order, non-stock products, 3rd parties and marketplaces, labor, and installation. We reserve the right to limit guarantee at our discretion in the event of suspected fraud or abuse.

 

Returned Yard Merchandise Policy

  • All Stocked Material: All items returned in resalable condition will be charged 15% restocking fee.
  • All Timbers (surfaced, rough or resawn): When returned will be reduced to the next lower size and lower grade and will be charged a minimum of 25% to pay for the remanufacturing to mill them to a saleable item.
  • All Fascia, Tongue & Groove, or Ship Lap: Will be charged a minimum of 25% due to job site depreciation.
  • Special Order:All special order items are non-returnable
  • Return Cartage & Handling: Return cartage will be charged at delivery cartage rate. Labor on job site handling will be charged at the current hourly rate including truck stand by time.
